Book Review!

Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell

Can I just say that I LOVE this book. I love this book more than I love air!

Synopsis:Cath is imbarking on the next chapter in her life, college. Even more exiting she will be going to the same college as her twin sister, Wren. But Wren has her own ideas of how her college experience will be spent. One idea is to break away from her twin sister, and have their own adventure. And to PARTY!! Sadly the only adventure Cath will be having is when she is writing one of her Simon Snow fan-fic. And Cath's number one goal in college is to make as little friends as possible, that changes when her roommate, Reagan, and Reagan's tall, handsome, and always smiling friend Levi start to show her what college life is really about.

What I felt about the book:Let my just say that I love Cath's charater, so much it's not even funny. I can relate to her in so many ways. Like Cath, I just got done with my first year of college, and while reading this book I remembered how scared I was when I first started. I was sure I wasn't going to make it through. Although the sister thing I couldn't really relate to, however I had to learn how to live without seeing, and talking to my best friend, since middle school, everyday. I also loved the series, which is a reflection to the Harry Potter series, the Simon Snow series. I really wish Simon Snow was a real thing. I want the books, I want to know what Cath knows, its just that good.

Then there is the love interest, and I'm not one to believe in love at first sight, but it was love at first sight(at least for me anyway). Levi is this amazing character, who is the total opposite of Cath, but at the same time they are perfect for each other! Every time they were in the same room together I just wanted one of them to yell out "I FUCKING LIKE YOU! OKAY!!!!" But they didn't. they took there time with building their relationship. Which if you think about it, it's totally fine. Because when it finally happens. It makes everything worth it.

The roommate/ Cath's only college friend(next to Levi), Reagan. I love Reagan, just like every other character in this book. Reagan is a force of nature, and she is really closed off to everyone but Levi. But at the same time you understand why she is the way she is. She can be bitchy, homicidal, and very bad ass, but when it comes to her friends no one fucks with them. Period. I love how protective/ amazing she is to Cath.

Now Cath's family. Wren's character through this book is very confusing. But I can just say that sisters will be sister. They fought, got under each others skin, and at the same time looked out for one another. It was really good to see there relationship go a complete 360, and end off good. Cath's love for her dad is the same as it is for her sister, protective, and loving. Cath spends most of the book worrying about her father. It was really nice and great to see.

If you have ever read the books The Perks of Being a Wallflower, or the Harry Potter series you will love this book.

This is my review on the White Rabbit Chronicles

Book Review

Dorothy Must Die - Danielle Paige

So let me just tell you that I loved this book so much!! I cannot wait for the second one.

Synopsis:

Amy Gumm is just a regular girl. Sure her mom is an alcoholic pill popper, who hasn't really been a mom in years, and her dad left them when she was just a little girl. But overall normal right? Wrong! After a tornado whisks Amy, and her trailer home away, she finds her self, Along with her pet rat, in the land of Oz. But Oz isn't the way Amy thought it to be. Everything was upside down, good is bad and bad is good. All because Dorothy came back. The only way to save Oz is to kill Dorothy.

My thoughts:

The beginning kind of starts out a little slow. I found that I really wanted to slap Amy in the face, because she was so clueless. I mean she literally had everyone she met explain to her what happened to Oz. LIKE. EVERY. TIME... But after she got over that hill, I found her character to be very likeable. I also thought that the characters she met  when she first came to Oz would remain with her. Boy was I wrong. If you get very attached to characters, you shouldn't in this book. There is I guess you can say two possible love interest in this book, but will lets just say you need to read the book to understand. I really hope the author goes deeper into some of the characters, like Nox, and two wicked witches.

I really loved how the author seemed to have an answer for every possible question. You could really tell she put time and effort into Amy's character, as well as, the story in general.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating.

SPOILER ALERT!

City of kill me now because all my favorite characters are going to die

City of Heavenly Fire - Cassandra Clare

Hello book world. So there are only 19 day until the release of City of Heavenly Fire, and as we all know our favorite author Cassandra Clare loves to torture us with her hints. So far we know that six people are going to die in this final installment of The Mortal Instruments, one of those characters will be a boy friend, and another will die trying to save someone else. I don't know about y'all, but I'm kind of scared to read COHF.... Just saying. But knowing that six people are going to die has me wondering who will those six people be? So today I am going to tell you guys my guesses on who will die. **Don't read if you have not read all The Mortal Instruments books, and The Infernal Devices books**

Person number one Jace Herondale(Lightwood/ Morgenstern/ Wayland):

If the reasons aren't clear as to why I feel like Jace will be one of the characters to die let me tell you. First of all in City of Bones Alec makes it clear that Jace would rather die, than to let evil prevail. Second off in the last two books he was brain washed, kidnapped, and turned into a human sun. He has escaped death more times then he can remember, and I feel like that's what Cassandra wants. She wants us to think he is unstoppable, so we wont be expecting his death. Another is he is really sort of tortured. I mean he was raised by a psycho that wanted to control human kind! As well as, he thought he was in love with his sister, when Clary isn't really his sister at all! (Jace will be the boy friend that will die)

  Person number two Luke Garroway:

Ahh Luke, the glasses wearing, book reading, wife stealing werewolf. His character is amazing, and I love that he loves Clary like his own daughter. But I just feel like him dying will be the proper tragedy that this series needs. Note that his death will come after him and Jocelyn get married so he would not be a boy friend. There isn't really a reason why I think he will die. I just have a feeling like he will.

Person number three Simon:

As we all know Simon has a reputation of not dying when he is suppose to die. So that is why I feel like this time he will really die. I mean no one will see it coming! And he isn't considered a boyfriend, because him and Isabelle never really confirmed what they where so if he dies before they even have the chance to put a name to it he is not a boy friend... My point is valid if I'm wrong I don't care!!

Person number four Raphael Santiago:

Raphael isn't really a main character, but he has had a lot of main roles in the series. He "saved" Simons life, he wanted to kill Simon for being a day lighter, he tried to get Camille over thrown as his leader. Also he has helped the shadow hunter crew quite a lot through out the whole series. I don't think his death will mean much to people, but I do feel like it will shock some.

Person number five Alec Lightwood:

So Cassandra said that someone will also die trying to save someone else. Alec has spent his whole life trying to keep the people he loves safe while shadow hunting. Him and Magnus broke up in the City of Lost Souls, and I don't thing they will get back together. However, I feel like him and Magnus will start talking again, but won't have the chance to get back together. Note: Magnus cannot die because Tessa had just talked to him in Clockwork Princess, which takes place after City of Heavenly Fire.

Person number six Sebastian (Johnathan Morgenstern):

I don't think I need to explain why Sebastian dies... I mean the villain always dies!! Right? Although I really love Sebastian, and I will miss him dearly, but I feel like the stuff that he's done to everyone(including trying to get with his sister) out weighs the good I know he has.

So there it is! These are the people I think will die. I hope I'm wrong on most of them, because I really don't want to see any of my favorite characters go. The only thing I know for sure is that come May 28th I will be the one dead...
